HVAC Engineer - Exeter / Taunton areas
Location: Mobile HVAC, Exeter / Taunton areas
Contract Type: Permanent Full Time
Working Hours: 0800-1700 Monday to Friday 40 Hours per week 1 Hour lunch
Salary: Up to £50k DOE and relevant Qualifications + Van & Fuel Card + Overtime and Call out

Role Overview
Provide general electrical / mechanical maintenance service and support on Refrigeration / Air Conditioning, heating equipment and associated plant to various properties and Data Centres.
Responsibilities
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance tasks on HVAC plant and associated equipment
* Maintain industrial / commercial chillers and split systems
* Manage building management systems and AHU plant
* Carry out reactive repair tasks on site plant and equipment
* Work safely according to Health & Safety requirements
* Use spares and materials cost‑effectively
* Complete site work order documentation to required standards
* Assist with on‑call duty engineer duties as part of team rota when required
* Other duties as reasonably requested by site management or client
Qualifications
* Solid background within a similar role
* Trade qualifications and level ? Refrigeration Qualifications NVQ/C&G Certificate
* Electrically qualified or competent
* Refrigerant handling certification
* Knowledge of Permit to Work System
* Relevant Health and Safety training (or willingness to undertake)
* Some knowledge of Building Management Systems an advantage
* Data Centre experience helpful but not prerequisite
* Ability to sustain effective relationships
