Care Assistant needed now for Nower House, our Dorking care home.

(36 hours a week) working 6 hours shifts 7.30am to 1:30pm or 1.30pm-7.30pm including alternate weekends. The role will involve provision of hands-on care to our elderly residents.

Qualifications Required

* Previous experience (desirable, not essential)
* Has right to work in the UK (essential – we do not offer sponsorship to work in the UK)

Pay

£12.60 per hour without experience* (increasing to £12.65 per hour on completion of the Care Certificate) with an hourly uplift of £2.00 at weekends. *Pay rate is £13.40 per hour with an NVQ2 in Health and Social Care and a Care Certificate.

Duties

We offer our residents the very highest standards of care. In this role you will support residents’ daily needs. This will include giving medication, washing, dressing, toileting and incontinence care, assisting at meal times and supporting residents with their mobility.

Roles are offered subject to a satisfactory DBS and right to work check and two acceptable references (one of these must be from your current/most recent employer).
