Overview
Service Delivery, Supply Chain and Operations - Manager is a role within the PwC Operate business. The team comprises over 3,000 people across the UK, South Africa and India, supporting Clients in purchasing goods and services from IT to energy and beyond. The work is delivered from a range of locations, providing cost-effective delivery, access to subject matter expertise and operational excellence. Our Clients range from household names to start-ups, government departments, industrial giants, technology leaders and global financial services firms.
What Your Days Will Look Like
* Procurement: Supporting Clients in the delivery of procurement activities including market analysis and engagement, requirements identification and management of the procurement process from initiation to contract award.
* Contract and Supplier Management: Managing contracts on behalf of Clients, driving to improve strategic supplier relationships, 3rd party supplier risk assessment, delivering and optimizing commercial assurance and undertaking detailed analysis of existing contract structures to identify improvement opportunities and current compliance. A separate team within Operate supports the overall P2P process.
* Category Management: Design of category strategies, category plans and the delivery of effective category management to drive market engagement and overall value to the Client organisation.
* Supply Chain Management: Management of existing supply chains (internal and 3rd party) and analysis to identify improvement opportunities.
In addition, we have a range of supporting services including spend analysis, procurement maturity assessment, fraud analytics, cost modelling, business case development, commercial governance and assurance and many more.
The Manager role leads on Client delivery across multiple engagements, manages stakeholder engagement across PwC and Client organisations, plans and manages resourcing, and is accountable for risk management, revenues and margin for specific engagements. Managers also drive business development for a market sector and mentor coachees in their career development.
This Role Is For You If
You will have 3 years or more of procurement or supply chain experience and seek to further develop your skills. We are specifically looking for individuals with significant experience in procurement and contract management of IT-related goods and services. Knowledge of the Public Sector, EU regulations and the Procurement Act 2023, as well as SC clearance, is desirable. The key attributes we look for are:

Location
Based in Belfast, Cardiff or Birmingham offices with some opportunity for home working. Travel and time away from home may be required to support delivery, especially during the inaugural phases of key engagements.
