Under the direction of the Head Teacher to work as an effective member of early years team contributing to planning, delivering, and assessing a flexible high-quality education and care service which meets the needs of young people and their families.

REQUIREMENTS

This post is considered to be Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) (PVG) Act 2007. Accordingly, the preferred candidate will be required to become a member of the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update if already a Scheme member, prior to any formal offer of employment being made. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Interviews for this post are scheduled for 02/10/2025.

The work style for this post is Frontline worker .

These posts are appointed at Level 8 for successful candidates who hold the relevant degree qualification. Available posts are as follows:

* Post A (17.5 hours) with an annual salary adjusted for a term time working pattern from £15,645 - £17,672.
* Post B (35 hours) with an annual salary adjusted for a term time working pattern from £31,291 - £35,343.

Candidates who are working towards their degree will be considered and will be placed at Level 7 on the scale until they have successfully achieved the degree. The annual salary, adjusted for a term time work pattern, is:

* Post A (17.5 hours) with an annual salary adjusted for a term time working pattern from £14,086 - £15,803.
* Post B (35 hours) with an annual salary adjusted for a term time working pattern from £28,171 - £31,606.
