Are you mechanically minded, detail-focused, and ready to start a hands-on career in manufacturing? We're looking for a Trainee Foiling Setter to join our production team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with various tools and equipment. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail is essential. The Setter will play a crucial role in the assembly and fabrication processes, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
Duties
* Following all Health & Safety policies and wearing appropriate PPE.
* Learning to set and run lamination lines for our full foiled product range.
* Monitoring and maintaining glue and primer systems, including calibration and record-keeping.
* Performing non-electrical preventative maintenance on equipment.
* Reading technical drawings and understanding foil codes and specifications.
* Conducting quality checks and ensuring products meet high standards.
* Recording production data and supporting continuous improvement.
* Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
* Communicating effectively and reporting any issues or incidents promptly.
