About This Role

Required for September 2025 an inspirational, enthusiastic, well-qualified and committed colleague with the vision and creativity to contribute to our Drama Department.

We are seeking a highly intelligent, driven, and creative professional—someone who thrives on challenge, embraces hard work, and is passionate about making a meaningful impact by identifying and removing barriers to success. Our thriving Drama department delivers an engaging curriculum across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, and is supported by a vibrant and inclusive extra-curricular programme through The Bromfords Theatre Company. This popular group of staff and students stages talent shows throughout the year and produces a major summer production—last year’s being Annie Jr., with Shrek the Musical set to take the stage this year.

Specific Responsibilities


* To plan, deliver and teach Drama lessons and sequences of lessons to meet the individual, personal and academic developmental needs of students and so build their capacity as independent learners.
* To follow the Scheme of Work and assessment programme as provided in Drama to ensure that all students make progress.
* To be accountable for student progress by liaising with teaching and support staff to monitor and support individual children and teaching groups.
* To participate in the development of appropriate syllabuses, materials and schemes of work.
* To be Form Tutor of an assigned form and to carry out related duties in accordance with the general job description of Form Tutor.
