Electrical Project Manager About the role We’re seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join our team on a commercial project (e.g. fit-out, shell & core, office block, retail centre, or mixed-use development). This is a freelance position, responsible for managing and delivering all electrical works on site to the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. Key Responsibilities * Oversee the planning, coordination, and delivery of all electrical works on site * Manage site teams including electrical supervisors, trades, and subcontractors * Interpret and review electrical drawings, designs, and specifications * Ensure installation work meets required quality, technical, and compliance standards * Work closely with other trade managers, project managers, and site management to coordinate schedules and resolve interface issues * Maintain and enforce health & safety standards, ensuring RAMS, permits, and safe systems of work are in place * Manage testing, inspection, and commissioning documentation * Monitor progress against programme, identify risks, and implement corrective actions * Oversee snagging, defect resolution, and project handover documentation * Produce accurate daily and weekly reports, progress updates, and material tracking Required Qualifications & Skills * Minimum 3 years’ experience as an Electrical Project Manager (or Senior Supervisor stepping up) on commercial or industrial projects * Proven record of managing full electrical project delivery from pre-start through to handover * Valid ECS Gold Card * SSSTS or SMSTS qualification * Strong understanding of current electrical regulations, health & safety, and QA processes * Excellent organisational and communication skills * Full UK Driving Licence To Apply Please send your up-to-date CV to apply for the Electrical Project Manager role
