This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys mechanical problem-solving and working on the strip-down, inspection and rebuild of industrial equipment. The position will involve working on blower vacuum pumps, rotary valves, pumps, gearboxes and pneumatic systems, ensuring equipment is repaired, refurbished and reassembled to a high standard of quality and reliability. Responsibilities Disassembly, assessment and reassembly for repair of blower vacuum pumps and rotary valves Making accurate measurement readings, replacing key components and reassembling products using notes taken during initial inspection Mechanical fitting, servicing and refurbishment of pumps, gearboxes and pneumatic assemblies Fault-finding and diagnosis of mechanical and pneumatic issues Completing maintenance records and service reports accurately, both on paper and using a tablet Ensuring all work is carried out safely, efficiently and in line with quality standards Maintaining good housekeeping and following company safety proceduresBasic Qualifications Recognised apprenticeship or vocational training qualification Experience w...
