*Senior Nursery Practitioner, required to work in our lovely countryside day nursery setting, just outside Hedge End SO30 4BG*Do you have the skills needed to inspire and enrich a young child's life, creating foundations that will guide them through their whole life? If so come and join our lovely Team.We are an independent Day Nursery registered for 72 children whose ages range from 6 months to nearly 5 years old. All our play areas are light and airy and we have a large natural garden with patio spaces all surrounded by fields and allotments.We are looking for the right person to assist in leading our team caring for our little ones aged 2 years old. You will be a patient and compassionate practitioner, with the ability to make every child feel special, whilst supporting the staff team and Room Leader.A minimum requirement of a relevant level 3 in childcare is necessary, as is previous experience working within a day nursery.This is a full-time position working an average 37.5 hours a week. Longer hours and shifts can be considered. Our unique 4-week shift system allows for a half day every other day: -For example,Weeks 1 & 2 you will work alternate 8 am to 6 pm then 8 am to 2 pm.Weeks 3 & 4 you will work alternate 8 am to 6 pm then 12 midday to 6 pm.You will also be asked to work one breakfast club a week as extra hours, starting at 7.30 am as extra hours.We are open from 7.30am to 6pm, Monday to Friday 51 weeks a year.We have a large comfortable staff room and supply free tea, coffee, and juice and wi-fi.
