Primary SEN Specialist Teacher | Aspiring School in Reading | Immediate Start

Wayman Education is seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Needs (SEN) Teacher to join a dynamic and welcoming primary school in Reading. The school is committed to providing an inclusive and nurturing learning environment that supports the diverse needs of our students.

· A class of 10 children

The School

This is a caring and happy two-form entry school with a Good Ofsted rating report that is located in the heart of Reading and seeking a SEN Specialist Teacher for their alternative resource provision. It is a calm class of 10 lovely children. With a curriculum designed to embrace different perspectives, the school aims to prepare students for a globalized world. The inclusive atmosphere at the school ensures that every student feels valued and supported, creating a sense of belonging that enhances the overall learning experience.

SEN Teacher Responsibilities:

· Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special educational needs.

· Foster an inclusive classroom environment that accommodates different learning styles and abilities.

· Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and parents to create a holistic support system for students.

· Utilize creative and innovative teaching methods to engage and inspire students with diverse needs.

· To provide pastoral support and guidance for all children in the classroom

· Regularly assess and monitor student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as necessary.

· To work with a range of agencies and organisations to support the needs and well-being of children.

Requirements:

· Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

· Specialization in Special Education Needs or relevant experience.

· Proven experience working with students with diverse learning needs.

· Strong communication and collaboration skills.

· A passion for inclusive education and a commitment to creating a positive learning environment.
