RED has a new contract opportunity for a UI Engineer to join one of our key partners for a new Digital Product Development project. The initial contract will be for 6 months with scope for extension. This contract is to start ASAP and will be hybrid with 3 days per week on-site in Belfast. Specific skills/experience required: 3 years of experience with professional web application development. Strong experience with: React functional components Typescript/JavaScript Automated testing (integration & unit tests) Wireframing with Figma or similar Agile delivery Isomorphic frameworks (e.g., Next.js) Mono‑repo tooling (e.g., NX, Yarn Workspaces) Contract‑first system design AWS software solutions Version control experience with Git and backlog management with JIRA.
