Job Title: S/4HANA Finance Support Lead
Duration: 3 months + extension (Hypercare & Transition Support)
Location: UK based (remote with 1 day per week onsite)
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced S/4HANA Finance Support Lead to provide leadership during the hypercare phase following an S/4HANA implementation. This is a short-term contract role focused on stabilisation, issue resolution, and establishing a sustainable support model.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead finance support activities during the hypercare period post S/4HANA go-live
* Act as the primary point of contact for finance-related incidents and escalations
* Coordinate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and system integrators
* Triage, prioritise, and drive resolution of defects and process issues
* Monitor system performance and ensure SLAs are met
* Provide functional expertise across core Finance modules (e.g. GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting)
* Support data reconciliation and financial integrity checks
* Document recurring issues and implement process improvements
* Define and transition to BAU support model, including knowledge transfer
Key Skills & Experience
* Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance (implementation and/or support)
* Proven track record leading hypercare or post-go-live support phases
* Deep understanding of end-to-end finance processes
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
* Experience with incident management and ticketing tools
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
* SAP certification in S/4HANA Finance (desirable)
