Offer description

The role:

1. Oversee order processing and customer enquiries to ensure high levels of service and quality to the customer
2. Ensure all orders are thoroughly checked to reduce / eliminate processing errors
3. Manage customer back orders and communicate with both internal teams and customers to reduce lead times
4. Investigate any processing errors and report to management team
5. Assist with transport schedule to ensure warehouse and drivers are aware of schedules to meet customer deliveries.
6. Deliver high levels of customer care; taking account of operational changes and ensuring that arrangements are responsive to meet customer demands
7. Actively participate as a member of the Customer Service Team; and role-modelling desired behaviours in business
8. Upskill and coach team members to ensure optimal performance on the individual and team
9. Work innovatively and collaborate across and between teams
10. Play a key part in emphasising the culture of the business; through driving ethical practice, promoting diversity and inclusion, and supporting employee wellbeing
11. Always Reducing wastage to reduce unnecessary costs
12. Ensure that work areas are always clean and tidy
13. Maintain own professional and personal development to ensure continued enjoyment of the role and consistent ‘good practice’ delivery to the business
14. Work with colleagues from other departments and across other Group Business Areas
15. Undertake any and all other duties as the business requires, in line with the responsibilities of the role, as may reasonably be requested from time to time

The successful candidate:

Will ideally be experienced in a sales administration, sales support or sales coordination role.

Knowledge and Skills

16. Able to deliver high levels of customer care
17. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
18. Highly developed analytical skills
19. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to use these in a range of contexts are essential
20. Good numerical skills are essential
21. Intermediate skills in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) are essential
22. A willingness to learn and develop on a personal level is essential

23. Ability to be resilient to the demands of the role is essential
24. Ability to work both independently and as part of a wider team is essential
25. Ability to remain self-motivated and to conclude work to a high standard especially when faced with challenges is essential
