Salary: £50,000 - 60,000 per year Requirements: Experience working as a Data Engineer or Database Engineer in a commercial environment Strong SQL expertise and experience developing data pipelines Experience with ETL frameworks, data modelling and working with complex datasets Familiarity with modern cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure Understanding of database migration, integration and data warehousing best practices Strong analytical and problem-solving ability Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across technical and non-technical teams Responsibilities: Lead the migration of legacy databases and systems to modern cloud or on-premise data platforms Design, build and maintain ETL pipelines to ingest and process large datasets from multiple sources Develop efficient processes for data collection, transformation and management Collaborate with technical and operational teams to identify opportunities to improve processes through better use of data Ensure strong data governance, quality and security across data platforms Support analytics, reporting and machine learning initiatives by providing clean, structured data Contribute to the wider digital transformation programme and continuous improvement of data capabilities Technologies: Azure Cloud ETL Support Machine Learning SQL Security More: We are a well-established organisation in South West England, currently investing heavily in modernising our data and digital capabilities.
