Graduate Design Coordinator – 2026 - London. We’re excited to open applications for our 2026 Graduate Programme, starting in September. As a Graduate Design Coordinator, you will become part of our Building team, delivering award-winning public-sector projects including Bath Spa University, the Royal London Hospital, and Bristol schools. In the private sector, we focus on commercial and mixed-use buildings. Our London expertise has contributed to a portfolio featuring some of the capital’s most iconic landmarks, such as The Gherkin and Heron Tower. Together, we are building a better society by shaping the future with innovation and purpose.

Programme start date: September 2026. If shortlisted and invited to an assessment day, it will be held at our London office (51 Moorgate, London EC2R 6BH) on Friday 23rd January 2026.


What you’ll do

* Be a core part of the Design Management team to drive business change in the use of new and emerging digital design technologies across the business.
* Support the design management process on a project, from enquiry through to submission of the tender and the ongoing management of all design related issues until project completion.
* Support the delivery of design work areas, in accordance with company procedures, statutory compliance (planning, building control, fire, environment), programme requirements, contract requirements, and project specifications.
* Undertake design reviews using digital technologies including building information modelling (BIM) and common data environments (CDE).
* Be responsible for the development and maintenance of the design management plan and design brief, including client requirements, cost, programme, design standards, health & safety, digital design strategy, production logistics, facilities management, contract agreement.
* Attend site to understand the delivery of the design process from BIM model to contract drawings through procurement and on-site delivery.
* Attend regular design coordination and progress reviews with design team and sub-contractors, supporting the design manager with action notes and closing issues.


What you’ll bring to the role

* Studying towards (final year) or recently completed a Construction Management, Civil Engineering or Architectural-based course accredited by the RIBA, ICE or CIOB.
* A keen interest in the use of current and emerging digital design technologies to drive business change and improvement.
* Excellent communications skills and attention to detail.
* Values-driven and passionate about sustainability.
* Commercially minded and enthusiastic about learning and developing new ways of thinking.
