We are seeking an individual to join the Head and Neck team. The role involves providing administrative support to the medical secretarial team and assisting with audiotyping when required. Candidates must be highly motivated, capable of multitasking in a busy office environment, and possess excellent communication skills to interact with a diverse range of people. Good IT skills and attention to detail are essential, as we aim to deliver high standards of service to our patients and medical team. The department handles a high volume of work, so experience in meeting deadlines is necessary. The ability to work effectively as part of a team is also crucial.

Main duties of the job
1. Storage, retrieval, and archiving of case notes to support outpatient episodes, including customer service, patient registration, and data input.
2. Maintain knowledge of filing systems and ensure accurate and timely filing of case notes.
3. Use tracking systems to locate and request case notes not in main storage areas.
4. Update the LE2.2 tracking system to reflect the location and status of case notes.
5. File confidential information securely into case notes.
6. Retrieve case notes for consultants, secretaries, or nurses.
7. Perform clinical transcription/audiotyping.
