About the Opportunity:
NRL is thrilled to be recruiting an experienced Quality Engineer to join one of our prestigious clients based in Cumbria. What You’ll Be Doing:
1. Take charge of quality assurance on a groundbreaking project, ensuring that everything meets the highest standards and specifications.
2. Thrive in an autonomous role, making a real difference while reporting directly to the engineering and quality management teams.
3. Lead audits and inspections critical to maintaining compliance with industry regulations.
4. Own and shape Life Time Records (LTRs) and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), ensuring detailed and flawless documentation.
5. Coordinate work packs, quality plans, and produce essential weekly reports to drive the project forward.
6. Advocate for Health, Safety, and Quality procedures, creating a safe and reliable environment for the team and stakeholders.
What You’ll Need:
1. A passion for quality engineering, with a deep understanding of mechanical engineering or coating inspection projects.
2. Certification as a Lead Auditor ISO 9001:2015.
3. A solid engineering foundation, with a Mechanical Engineering or Coatings Inspection background (HNC in Mechanical Engineering or ICORR Level 2 and NACE Level 1, 2 & 3 Coatings).
4. Experience in highly regulated environments, contributing to quality management processes.
5. Expertise in Life Time Records (LTRs) and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) for flawless documentation and reporting.
6. Security clearance: BPSS and/or SC cleared, or willingness to undergo security clearance.
