* Respond to all enquiries from customers and engage directly
* Liaise with new and existing clients to identify their specific order requirements
* Understand customer information, drawings and technical information
* Prepare detailed and competitive quotations and proposals
* Ensure swift follow-up of quotes and negotiate to secure orders
* Liaise with sub-contract suppliers as required
* Monitor and communicate delivery times along with updates on progress
* Maintain accurate records of estimates, proposals, and communications for future reference
* Document key points and action items
* Build, develop, and maintain excellent relationships with customers, maintaining our high standard of service


ABOUT YOU

* Sales experience in a similar engineering / manufacturing environment
* Highly literate and numerate, commercially astute
* Confidence to deal with decision makers and customers directly
* Proficient in using CRM and CAD software and other sales tools
* A flexible approach to be able to adapt to changing and challenging requirements
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
* Ability to remain focused on Quality and consistently reiterate its importance to others
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to generate innovative concepts and ideas


WORKING HOURS

* Monday-Thursday 0700-1600
* Friday 0700-1500
