This is an excellent opportunity to join my client, a trusted, sustainably-minded Multidisciplinary Consultancy, known for lending their skills and expertise to a variety of projects across the transport planning, infrastructure, and water sectors. They are currently seeking a knowledgeable, practised SuDS Designer, who is willing to take on a number of challenging projects across the region. You will be based near the scenic, richly-historical town of Ware.

Responsibilities for the role of SuDS Designer include:
Generating detailed Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) designs for a variety of projects, namely new residential developments
Contributing to planning applications and construction phases
Producing a range of sustainable drainage and infrastructure solutions across the local region
Collaborating with a team of experts in the field, contributing to a range of exciting projects
Required skills and experience for the role of SuDS Designer include:
A UK Degree (or equivalent qualification) in Civil Engineering, Hydrology, or similar
Extensive experience of SuDS and wider Civil Engineering design, especially for residential development projects
Good working knowledge of the relevant software systems, including AutoCAD, Causeway Flow, InfoDrainage/MicroDrainage, Civils 3D, etc.
Demonstrable experience of producing detailed designs in support of planning applications and at varying stages of construction
Competent understanding of the relevant Section Agreements (e.g., S104, S38, etc.)
Good working knowledge of flood risk and mitigation, including Flood Risk Assessments, etc.
Desirable skills and experience for the role of SuDS Designer include:
A higher qualification in a relevant subject area
Possess Chartered Status with a relevant Professional Body (e.g., ICE, CIWEM, etc.), or actively working to attain this
Hold a full, valid UK Driving Licence
