Overview
We are looking for a Programme Delivery Lead to oversee the successful delivery of our clients Open Programmes and ensure they meet institutional goals. In this role, you will lead a team of Senior Programme Managers, manage resources and budgets, and work closely with stakeholders across the organisation to maintain high-quality, timely, and compliant programme delivery. You will also support continuous improvement initiatives, streamline processes, and implement new systems to enhance operational efficiency and participant experience. Our client is a leading international centre for business education, research, and executive development. Based within a world-renowned university, it brings together students, faculty, and professionals from around the globe to address real-world business challenges.
Key responsibilities
* Develop and implement the delivery strategy in line with Open Programmes and institutional goals
* Establish and monitor KPIs for participant experience, quality, cost, and risk
* Represent the delivery function in leadership planning and strategic workstreams
* Manage and support Senior Programme Managers, including setting goals, providing guidance, and supporting professional development
* Maintain accountability for timely, high-quality delivery across all Open Programmes
* Oversee resource planning, supplier management, and delivery scheduling
* Ensure all delivery operations comply with risk, safeguarding, and regulatory requirements
* Monitor programme budgets, including profit margins and budget variances
* Maintain clear service standards for the programme management team
* Monitor and improve the accuracy and timeliness of pre-programme communications
* Manage issue resolution and complaints handling
* Support continuous improvement, process simplification, and knowledge sharing
* Assist with the implementation of new systems and approaches
Skills/experience
* Significant experience leading complex programmes or service delivery teams
* Experience managing team performance and supporting team development
* Strong operational skills, with the ability to improve efficiency, quality, and processes
* Experience working across multiple stakeholders, including faculty, clients, and executive leadership
* Experience with CRM systems and operational tools
* Understanding of hybrid and online learning operations
* Familiarity with AI tools, automation, or scheduling technologies in operational environments
A salary in the region of £40,000 – 60,000, bonus and generous benefits package including 33 days holiday plus bank holidays is offered.
