Position: Despatch Supervisor
Contract Type: Permanent / full-time (40 hours per week)
Location: Ryton on Dunsmore, Coventry
Shift: Monday - Friday 21.30 start
Salary: £31,283.30 per annum

About the role
With a strong focus on providing high standards of service to both external and internal customers, responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
* Delivery of essential communications regarding team performance and review via PD board sessions and one-to-one discussions.
* Compliance with new employee inductions and training.
* Compliance with company SOMs and risk assessments.
* Working closely with the Compliance team to deliver the required standard of driver compliance.
* The review, development and delivery of Despatcher training.
* Assignment of general daily duties to the Despatch team to ensure an on-time network to the customer.
The ideal candidate will have
* Transport Manager CPC qualification is preferred.
* Experience and knowledge of Control Room procedures including drivers’ hours legislation is an advantage.
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
