Role Overview We are looking for a dedicated Production Operative to join our Decant team. In this key role, you will be responsible for accurate decanting and packaging of raw materials adhering to strict quality and safety standards. You will work collaboratively within a busy production environment, ensuring products are prepared efficiently to meet production schedules while maintaining all hygiene and safety protocols. Key Responsibilities Assist with decanting raw materials and finished products according to company specifications. Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment. Maintain stringent hygiene and sanitation standards following cleaning schedules and the ‘clean as you go’ policy. Monitor quality throughout the decant process, reporting any discrepancies promptly. Complete accurate process and food safety documentation. Operate onsite vehicles to assist with stock movement where required. Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets. Provide cover and support across other departments when necessary. Shift Pattern This role requires flexibility to work on a weekly rotating shift basis including early (6am to 2pm) late (2pm to 10pm), and night (10pm to 6am) shifts. You would receive an 8.5% shift allowance on top of base salary. Requirements Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment is preferred but not essential. Forklift operation certificates are advantageous but not mandatory. Ability to follow detailed instructions and comply with safety practices. Strong attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality products. Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team. Physical ability to lift and move heavy products as required. Willingness to work flexible hours including shift patterns as scheduled.
