Job Title: Geography Teacher
Location: Blyth
Salary: £140 - £190 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Geography Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in Blyth. If you're ready to guide pupils through physical landscapes, global issues, and cultural discoveries — we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities of the Geography Teacher:
* Plan and deliver engaging geography lessons across KS3 and KS4.
* Develop students' understanding of global, environmental, and human geography
* Use a variety of teaching methods to support different learning styles.
* Track student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
* Create a classroom environment that promotes curiosity, discussion, and respect.
* Participate in departmental planning and contribute to extracurricular activities.
Requirements:
* UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent overseas qualification.
* Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Geography.
* Previous teaching experience in a secondary school setting.
* Effective behaviour management skills.
* Have an up-to-date CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
