Operations Analyst - Contract role - Belfast
MCS Group is looking for a skilled Operations Analyst to join a highly renowned financial services firm based in Belfast. This is a brand-new 6-month contract job opportunity.

The Rewards:
As the successful Operations Analyst, you will receive the following:
* £35,000 - £50,000 full-time, annual equivalent salary
* The chance to play a vital role in supporting the firm's London & Belfast teams
The Role:
As the successful Operations Analyst, you will support the BAU processes regarding EMIR regulations:
* Executing complex transactions and overrides in line with established procedures and SLAs
* Providing thorough analysis and reporting / operational support
* Analysing service delivery issues, conducting internal and external research projects to contribute to audit reviews
* Identify and manage risks, escalating non-standard, high-risk transactions and activities
* Documenting and investigating processes & exceptions arising from transactions / processes beyond 1st level operations service delivery
The Person:
The successful Operations Analyst will meet the following criteria:
* Demonstrable experience in a similar role within financial services - ideally within regulatory reporting or trade operations
* Proven regulatory knowledge - EMIR, MIFID or similar
* Self-starter who naturally picks things up quickly
* Highly analytic with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical internal team members
