The role:
As a Deputy Team Leader, you will help drive our goals by:
* Leading by example to prioritize EHS, ensuring poor EHS culture and behavior are challenged and addressed appropriately.
* Supporting the team leader in managing people and equipment to ensure on-time delivery of production targets.
* Operating plant and equipment in line with business standards to meet planned requirements.
* Ensuring processes and procedures are executed accurately, with relevant documents completed thoroughly and promptly. Creating and maintaining accurate batch process records and shift logs as work progresses.
Key skills that will help you succeed in this role:
* Grade C or equivalent in Mathematics, English, and Science (or equivalent) - Essential
* Knowledge of various PC packages including Excel, Word, Access, SharePoint - Desirable
* Good understanding of Chemistry, preferably to A-level - Desirable
* Exposure to lean manufacturing approaches - Desirable
