Welsh-Speaking Teaching Assistant Swansea & Carmarthenshire £14.25 per hour 8:30am – 3:30pm (No weekends!) About the Role Teaching Personnel is currently seeking a Welsh-speaking Teaching Assistant to work across schools in the Swansea and Carmarthenshire area. This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils in Welsh-medium and bilingual settings, helping to create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment. You will work closely with teachers to support learners across a range of abilities, providing both classroom assistance and one-to-one support where required. Key Responsibilities Support pupils in Welsh and English across the curriculum Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery and preparation Provide targeted support to individuals and small groups Help promote positive behaviour and engagement Support pupils with additional learning needs (ALN) where required Requirements To be considered for this role, you must: ✅ Be fluent Welsh-speaking (essential) ✅ Hold an Enhanced DBS Certificate on the Update Service (or be willing to obtain one) ✅ Be registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) or willing to register Desired Qualifications & Experience While not essential, the following are highly desirable: Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification CACHE Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching & Learning Experience working with children in an education setting Experience supporting pupils with ALN A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle Why Work with Teaching Personnel?
