Overview
£25 - £35 Per hour
The role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis. The ESOL Tutor will primarily work in a classroom setting within an educational institution in Haringey, Greater London. The tutor may need to adapt to varying student schedules and may occasionally require evening or weekend availability.
Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) lessons to adult learners.
* Assess students' language skills and create tailored learning plans.
* Provide constructive feedback to students to support their language development.
* Monitor and track student progress to ensure learning objectives are met.
* Collaborate with other educators and support staff to create a positive learning environment.
Qualifications
* TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) certification or equivalent.
* Experience teaching ESOL to adult learners.
* Bachelor\'s degree in Education, English, Linguistics, or related field.
* Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching ESOL to adult learners.
* Strong understanding of language acquisition principles.
* Proficiency in using technology to enhance language learning.
* Ability to create engaging and interactive lesson plans.
* Knowledge of different teaching methodologies for language instruction.
* Master\'s degree in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) or related field.
* Experience working with multicultural and multilingual student populations.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
