Role details:
Our client, a leader in the defence and security sector, is seeking a Courseware Designer and Analyst for a six-month contract. The role involves remote work with minimal travel to sites near Reading. Responsibilities include developing training courseware, analyzing training requirements, and producing training documentation.
Responsibilities:
Develop training courseware through analysis, design, maintenance, review, and production of DSAT Documentation & processes for military training.
Lead or participate in teams responsible for analysis, design, maintenance, review, and production of DSAT Documentation & processes for military training sites and organizations.
Identify and articulate responses to new or changing training requirements based on customer specifications.
Analyze and capture training needs arising from new or changing requirements.
Recommend optimal training solutions, balancing time, cost, and quality, and define the training solution at an appropriate level of detail for Training Design to begin.
Produce and update Training Design documents, including Formal Training Statements, Training Performance Statements, Training Objectives, Workplace Training Statements, and Residual Training Gap Statements.
Conduct Knowledge, Skills, and Attitude/Attribute (KSA) analysis to accurately reflect training needs.
Review existing training documentation as needed.
Interview subject matter experts to gather required data.
Participate in workshops to discuss analysis findings and report on these findings.
Support evaluation of course data as needed.
Skills and Experience:
Excellent communication skills at all levels, both internally and with the customer organization.
Experience in training analysis and contributing to significant training course analyses.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
In-depth knowledge and practical experience of UK Ministry of Defence procedures and policies, including Defence Systems Approach to Training (DSAT).
