As Head of Underwriting, youll play a pivotal role in strengthening the business, ensuring risk management excellence, enhancing efficiency, and inspiring a high-performing underwriting team.
Your key responsibilities include:
* Crafting and refining the company's underwriting strategy to achieve profitable growth, increased market share, and disciplined risk selection.
* Leading the Underwriting Committee, balancing commercial opportunities with rigorous risk governance.
* Overseeing portfolio and scheme performance, assessing loss ratios, retention trends, and making key adjustment proposals to support growth.
* Enhancing product design, policy wordings, and underwriting guidelines to stay competitive and compliant.
