We’re working with a reputable and growing M&E contractor based in Northampton, seeking an experienced Mechanical Contracts Manager to oversee a range of exciting projects across the commercial, industrial, and education sectors.

🔧 Key Responsibilities:

Oversee multiple mechanical contracts simultaneously
*
Lead project delivery from design coordination to handover
*
Manage on-site teams and subcontractors, ensuring work is completed to specification, on time, and within budget
*
Coordinate with clients, consultants, and internal departments to maintain strong communication and relationships
*
Monitor project progress, financials, and health & safety compliance
*
Attend client meetings and produce regular progress reports
*
Oversee procurement of materials and labour
*
Support in estimating, planning, and tender reviews as required
🎓 Qualifications & Experience:
*
Proven experience as a Mechanical Contracts Manager in the commercial, industrial, or education sectors
*
Strong understanding of mechanical systems including HVAC, pipework, plumbing, and BMS
*
Relevant mechanical qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering, HNC/HND Building Services or equivalent)
*
SMSTS or SSSTS certification (preferred)
*
Excellent leadership, organisational and communication skills
*
Ability to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively with stakeholders
*
Full UK Driving Licence
