About Us:
We are a well-established M&E building services company established for 70 years who specialise in new build and refurbishment projects. Due to our continued growth, we are seeking a Junior Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team in Warrington.
Role Overview:
This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate or someone with up to 2 years of experience in quantity surveying within the buildings, mechanical, or electrical sectors. The role will be predominantly office-based with site visits as required.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assisting in cost estimation, budgeting, and tendering processes.
* Conducting site visits to assess work progress and valuations.
* Supporting the preparation and submission of financial reports.
* Assisting with procurement and contract administration.
* Liaising with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
* Providing support in the management of project costs and variations.
* Learning and developing skills under the guidance of the Managing Quantity Surveyor.
Requirements:
* Degree in Quantity Surveying.
* 0-2 years of experience in a relevant field (buildings, mechanical, or electrical).
* Strong analytical and numerical skills.
* Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
* Willingness to learn and develop within a supportive environment.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
