This is a hands‑on role focused on assembling precision UHV systems, offering the chance to work with advanced technology in a specialist environment.

Essential Requirements
* Experience in a manufacturing or engineering assembly environment
* Ability to read and follow engineering drawings and instructions
* Understanding of mechanical assembly and basic electrical work
* Strong attention to detail and quality standards
* Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure
* Basic IT skills (MS Office)
Desirable
* Experience in cleanroom or high-tech manufacturing environments
* Knowledge of UHV systems, electron or ion optics
* Experience in low-volume, high-spec product manufacturing
* Exposure to precision hand fitting, wiring, and testing processes
Qualifications
* Level 3 Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
* HNC/HND or degree in Mechanical or Electromechanical Engineering (desirable)
* Apprenticeship or time-served background considered
