Job Description
* Conduct comprehensive fire risk assessments for social housing properties, identifying potential hazards and recommending effective control measures.
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement fire safety strategies and procedures.
* Provide expert advice on fire safety compliance, keeping abreast of relevant legislation, codes of practice, and industry standards.
* Support the development and delivery of fire safety training programs for staff, contractors, and residents.
* Work closely with project teams to assess and mitigate fire risks during construction and refurbishment projects.
* Prepare and maintain accurate documentation related to fire risk assessments and safety measures.
The Successful Applicant
* Proven experience as a Fire Risk Assessor within the social housing sector.
* Recognised fire safety qualification (e.g., FPA, NEBOSH Fire Safety Certificate).
* Thorough understanding of fire safety legislation, regulations, and best practices.
* Strong analytic and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
