Working pattern: Part-time, Term-time working for 39 weeks per year plus 5.65 weeks annual leave, which will increase after 5 years' continuous service.
As the position is part-time/term-time only, the above salary will be pro rata.

The Skylark Federation – Individual Needs Assistant (SEN Focus)
The Skylark Federation is seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and committed Individual Needs Assistant (INA) to join our welcoming and friendly team at Iford and Kingston CE Primary School.
This rewarding role will primarily involve working closely with a child with Special Educational Needs (SEN) within our Early Years setting. You will be supporting the child's learning and development through a play-based curriculum, helping to create a nurturing, inclusive environment where they can thrive socially, emotionally, and academically.
Experience or interest in speech and language development and/or Early years is highly desirable. Supporting communication skills will be a key element of the role.
The successful candidate will:
* Work as part of the Early Years team to deliver engaging, play-based learning experiences tailored to the child's individual needs.
* Collaborate closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and external professionals to ensure consistent and effective support.
* Be patient, compassionate, and adaptable in responding to the child's needs throughout the school day.
* Liaise effectively with parents/carers and colleagues to promote the child's well-being, learning, and progress.
Full training and ongoing support will be provided to ensure the successful candidate feels confident in delivering high-quality SEN support. A genuine passion for working with young children and those with additional needs is essential.
Hours: 8.30am – 3.15pm, term time only.
