The role

The Principal Development Engineer will determine and represent the views of the highway authority in respect of development: Notably manage, monitor and review the implementation and adoption of third party highway works through Highways and Planning legislation to ensure such works are delivered in accordance with the Council’s policies, objectives and programmes, planning approvals, highway design standards and legal, health and safety, and financial regulations. The applicant must have a good understanding of Planning and Development Control processes.
