Full-Time (36 hrs/week) | Hybrid (2-3 days per week on-site at Dockside, Newham)

We're seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join a high‑performing team in Newham, playing a key role in reshaping Housing Services through service redesign, process improvement, and performance optimisation.
This role is perfect for someone passionate about driving meaningful change in the public sector while improving outcomes for residents.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
Service Redesign & Improvement
Lead and support service redesign across all HRA Capital Programme Services.
Apply structured improvement methodologies to deliver better service outcomes.
Analyse existing service models to identify inefficiencies, duplication, and risks.
Develop evidence-based recommendations and support the implementation of redesigned services.
Process Mapping & Analysis
Create detailed process maps for Housing Services.
Collaborate with service teams to document current processes and design improved future-state processes.
Ensure processes are efficient, resident-focused, digitally enabled, and clearly defined.
Maintain a central library of process documentation in partnership with the PMO team.
Performance, KPIs & Data
Design and maintain a comprehensive KPI framework aligned to strategic priorities and regulatory requirements.
Work closely with operational and finance teams to develop consistent measures, data definitions, and reporting standards.
📘 Essential Knowledge & Experience
Proven experience as a Business Analyst within Housing Services, Local Government, or a related public-sector environment.
Strong background in service redesign, process mapping, and business analysis methodologies.
Experience developing, reviewing, or implementing housing policies, procedures, and operational guidance.
Demonstrable experience designing and managing KPIs and performance frameworks.
