Commercial Account Handler - Worcester
Are you an experienced Commercial Account Handler looking to join a respected, people-focused insurance brokerage? Our client, a well-established firm based in the heart of Worcester, is renowned for their expert advice, long-term client relationships, and supportive team culture. Due to continued growth, they're seeking confident and knowledgeable professionals to join their expanding team.
As a Commercial Account Handler, you'll take ownership of a varied portfolio of commercial clients across a range of industries. You'll deliver tailored insurance solutions, provide trusted advice, and build strong, lasting relationships.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Managing renewals, mid-term adjustments (MTAs), and new business quotations
* Advising clients on a broad spectrum of commercial insurance products
* Negotiating with insurers to secure competitive terms and comprehensive cover
* Supporting Account Executives with administrative and technical tasks
* Ensuring compliance with FCA regulations and internal procedures
* Providing a high standard of customer service to foster client loyalty and retention
About You
We're looking for someone who brings both expertise and enthusiasm to the role.
You will ideally have:
* A minimum of 2 years' experience in a Commercial Account Handler position or similar role
* A solid understanding of the insurance market
* Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* The ability to manage your own workload and meet deadlines
* Experience using insurance based systems and MS Excel
* Cert CII qualification (not essential)
