Overview
Looking to become part of a team providing essential services to the local community? A great opportunity has arisen to join our Admin team for 21.6 hours per week as admin support to the Community Mental Health Team. A minimum of 2 years administrative experience and excellent communication skills are preferred but not essential. This position provides admin support to the Community Mental Health Team and will be based in Portree Hospital.
This role is exciting and challenging, requiring the individual to support the team in all admin duties by answering calls, organising appointments and handling general enquiries for the team and patients. The role also involves attending daily/weekly meetings and updating various systems with patient information, as well as helping set up and send out course information.
The job requires the ability to prioritise workload, treat all data with care and understand GDPR, work in a structured manner and follow policies and procedures, while delivering supportive, empathetic assistance to team members and clients.
Responsibilities
* Provide admin support to the Community Mental Health Team, including answering calls, organising appointments and handling general enquiries.
* Attend daily/weekly meetings and update patient information in relevant systems.
* Assist with setting up and distributing course information.
* Prioritise workload, adhere to GDPR, and follow policies and procedures.
* Maintain an empathetic and professional approach to colleagues and clients.
Qualifications
* Minimum of 2 years administrative experience (preferred but not essential).
* Excellent communication skills.

Additional Information for Candidates
* Effective from 1st April 2026, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reduced from 37 to 36 hours. Part-time hours will be adjusted on a pro-rata basis. There will be an increase in the hourly rate to ensure that pay remains unaffected.
