Care Support Worker – Help People Live Their Best Lives Every Day
Are you passionate about making a difference in people’s lives? Do you bring warmth, energy and compassion to everything you do? As a Care Support Worker at Peabody, you will play a key role in helping people live independently, confidently and with dignity.
In this role, you will support individuals with their daily routines, personal care and health needs, while encouraging them to make their own choices and express themselves. You will help people engage in hobbies, interests and community activities, and build positive relationships with families, friends and professionals.
You will also help maintain safe, clean and comfortable homes and contribute to regular reviews and team meetings.
This is a flexible role working across a 24/7 service, including evenings, weekends, overnight shifts and bank holidays, so a willingness to work unsociable hours is essential. A full, clean UK manual driving licence is required, as driving is a key part of supporting customers.
We are looking for someone with a caring and respectful approach, good communication skills and a positive team spirit. You will need to be organised, able to keep accurate records and meet deadlines, and committed to supporting people from diverse backgrounds. Experience in care or support is desirable but not essential, as is a Care Certificate or NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care. A satisfactory DBS check will be required.
