About the Role

A dynamic and inclusive primary school in the Bow / Bethnal Green area of East London is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Primary Teacher to join its professional teaching team. This is a full-time, permanent role, suitable for both experienced educators and newly qualified teachers (ECTs).

The successful candidate will be responsible for a class within Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2, delivering high-quality lessons that inspire and engage pupils. Key Responsibilities

As a Primary Teacher in this Bow / Bethnal Green school, your responsibilities will include:

* Planning, preparing, and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons across the curriculum in line with the National Curriculum

* Creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners

* Monitoring pupil progress and adapting lessons to meet the needs of pupils with diverse abilities, including SEN and EAL learners

* Maintaining high expectations for behaviour, effort, and achievement

* Supporting pupils’ social, emotional, and personal development alongside academic progress

* Working collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, SEN staff, and senior leaders to provide targeted support

* Participating in pupil progress meetings, interventions, and whole-school initiatives

* Communicating effectively with parents and carers regarding pupil achievement and wellbeing

* Keeping accurate records of pupil progress, attainment, and behaviour

* Participating actively in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school projects

* Upholding safeguarding, child protection, and school policies at all times

The Ideal Candidate

The school is seeking a Primary Teacher who:

* Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

* Has experience teaching in KS1 or KS2 (ECTs welcome)

* Demonstrates strong classroom management and consistently applies positive behaviour strategies

* Is committed to inclusive education and supporting pupils from diverse backgrounds

* Can differentiate lessons to meet the needs of individual learners

* Is reflective, proactive, and committed to professional growth

* Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills with pupils, parents, and colleagues

* Works collaboratively within a supportive team environment

* Is passionate about making a difference in children’s lives

Experience supporting pupils with SEN, EAL, or additional learning needs is desirable but not essential.
