Applications are invited for the post of Research Services Officer in the Research and Innovation Department at Royal Holloway, University of London. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Research Services Officer to join our team. This role is central to providing day-to-day operational support and expert advice on the costing and submission of research proposals, as well as managing the acceptance process for new research awards. You will play a vital part in supporting academic staff throughout the research funding journey and ensuring accurate administration of grant application data.
Responsibilities
The role focuses on:

Qualifications
* Proven experience in an administrative position, ideally within a research or higher education environment.
* Strong aptitude for financial management and excellent attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; willingness to learn new systems.
* Strong organisational and numerical skills and excellent interpersonal abilities to build effective working relationships across the institution.

The role is based at our campus in Egham, Surrey, located near Windsor Great Park and within easy commuting distance of London.
