You will work alongside experienced platform and security engineers to build and refine core Azure capabilities, with a strong emphasis on automation, resilience, and secure-by-design principles.This is not a greenfield concept piece. The platform is live, in use, and central to how the organisation delivers technology.ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement robust Azure platform components aligned to enterprise standardsEnhance CI/CD capabilities to support reliable, repeatable, low-risk deploymentsEmbed automation across build, release, and operational workflowsContribute to platform governance, standards, and engineering best practicesEnsure solutions meet expectations for security, resilience, performance, and cost controlSupport the continued modernisation of architecture, tooling, and engineering processesTechnology EnvironmentMicrosoft Azure (including Container Apps, Front Door, API Management)Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)Azure DevOps (pipelines and release engineering)PowerShellProfileProven experience as a hands-on Azure / platform / DevOps engineerStrong understanding of cloud-native architecture and CI/CD practicesExperience working within regulated or complex enterprise environmentsAble to deliver high-quality, supportable solutions without unnecessary complexityComfortable contributing to both technical direction and deliveryDesirable:Exposure to C#, SQL Server, Databricks, Azure B2C, or Power PlatformEngagementFTE Permanent role (unfortunately no sponsorship available)Hybrid working, with presence in Edinburgh or LondonRole embedded within a strategically important transformation programmeThis is suited to engineers who want to work on real platforms at scale, where the work has direct impact and the standards are high.
