As a key part of the team, you will ensure compliance, drive safety culture, and continuously improve HSE performance across the business. Your responsibilities will include:
Leading and conducting HSE audits, preparing reports, and providing actionable recommendations to achieve compliance and best practice.
Monitoring and analysing KPI data to track performance and identify improvement areas.
Developing and enhancing systems, processes, and procedures that strengthen safety standards.
Coordinating and delivering engaging training sessions to raise awareness and capability across the workforce.
Supporting accident investigations, conducting root-cause analysis, and ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
Driving improvement initiatives through cross-functional meetings, project work, and process safety reviews.
Acting as a trusted advisor, promoting a proactive approach to health, safety, and environmental matters across all levels of the organisation.
Qualification and Skills
Previous experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment (preferred).
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the confidence to influence at all levels.
Proficient IT and reporting skills to track, analyse, and present safety data.
Knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 standards (advantageous).
IOSH / NEBOSH certification or equivalent (or willingness to work towards).
A professional, proactive, and positive approach, with the ability to balance a varied workload and lead by example.
Full driving licence.
