We’re looking for dynamic and creative analytical professionals to develop insightful and impactful evidence that will lead to better outcomes for our children and young people.
About The Role
In this role, you’ll provide leadership in intelligence, analysis and performance. You’ll establish partnerships to identify requirements and interdependencies and develop a range of trusted and timely analytical products for operational, corporate, statutory and public users. You’ll coordinate and support a network of colleagues in service teams across the directorate to share standards and best practice and co- produce key analytical products.
The data, intelligence and information your team collects and analyses will underpin education strategies and innovation programmes, so this is a fantastic opportunity to work on projects that benefit young people and their communities. As such, everything you do will be evidence-based, geared towards continuous improvement, and compliant with data protection legislation.
About You
An established professional with a degree-level qualification, you’ll have substantial experience and an excellent knowledge of qualitative and quantitative data management, transformation and analysis. You’ll have proven team leadership and management experience in designing, developing, and implementing systems for data collection, collation, analysis, and reporting.
You’ll combine advanced analytical skills with a can-do approach to problem-solving, working with teams to find new data sources, improving processes and testing innovative approaches to create insightful intelligence.
As a leader, you’ll be an experienced, driven, creative and passionate advocate for children and young people. You’ll have experience of building and maintaining effective working relationships with a wide range of colleagues, stakeholders, and external organisations. You’ll set clear direction and objectives for your team, using your influencing skills to inspire, empower, and motivate staff. You’ll instil a culture that values compassion, high-performance, and inclusivity, shaping and developing the skills of your team so that every person can get the most from their role.
