We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Duty Manager to oversee daily operations in our hotel. As a Duty Manager, you will ensure that all aspects of the operation run smoothly, from reception to bartending, while maintaining high standards of food safety and hospitality.
Responsibilities
* Supervise daily operations of the reception area, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
* Manage and lead the team, providing support and guidance to staff members in their roles.
* Oversee food and beverage to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Handle customer inquiries and complaints effectively, ensuring a positive dining experience for all guests.
* Assist in bartending duties as required, crafting beverages with attention to detail.
* Conduct regular inspections of the premises to maintain cleanliness and organisation.
* Train new staff on operational procedures, food safety practices, and customer service excellence.
Experience
* Proven experience in a similar role within the hotel and hospitality industry.
* Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations
* Demonstrated ability to manage teams effectively, fostering a collaborative work environment.
* Experience in bartending and food service is highly desirable.
* Excellent communication skills with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
* Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and organisation.
