General knowledge of engineering practices.
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
Strong attention to detail and a diligent work ethic.
Good organisational skills and ability to work independently.
Clear communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
Willingness to learn and grow with the company. What You'll Do
Machine Operation - Safely and efficiently operate automated welding machines as a Welding Machine Operator.
Polishing & Assembly - Perform mechanical polishing of welded components and assist with light mechanical assembly/fitting.
Workshop Support - Provide support to the workshop and welding supervisors as needed.
Health & Safety - Follow company safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment. Desirable Experience
Previous experience in welding, machine operation, or engineering.
Background in mechanical assembly or manufacturing. Why Apply?
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Welding Machine Operator who is looking to develop their skills and grow within a supportive, established business. Our client values their people and offers the chance to build a secure, long-term career.
If you're practical, reliable, and keen to take the next step as a Welding Machine Operator, we'd love to hear from you
