Global Service Engineer
Our high-value instrumentation (electro‑mechanical) industry client is seeking a service engineer.
Key Duties
* Carry out installation, commissioning, and technical support of products at customer sites worldwide.
* Deliver both remote and on‑site assistance, including troubleshooting, repairs, and the integration of product upgrades.
* Track and analyse system performance and uptime for deployed and in‑house equipment to ensure reliability.
* Create and maintain detailed technical documentation to improve installation, maintenance, and fault‑diagnosis procedures.
Requirements
* Experience in the scientific instrumentation or related industry sector.
* 2+ years’ experience working in a Product Support team or Service & Repair role.
* Experience in a customer‑interfacing role.
Estimated overseas travel would be around 50%; during other periods the work would be based in the office at Oxfordshire.
Prolonged periods of work overseas. In most cases these periods are usually covered in a two‑week period.
