Responsibilities:
Pick, pack, and handle products with a strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy of quantities and part numbers.
Ensuring that the fulfilment manager/product picking supervisor are aware of any stock adjustments that are required after pick is complete.
Identify and escalate discrepancies, damages, or quality issues.
Comply with stock control and storage protocols.
Adhere to all Health & Safety regulations, including appropriate use of PPE and safe lifting techniques.
Support stores activities and fulfilment operations as required.The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
Experience in a warehouse or fulfilment role is desirable.
Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to handling goods.
Good numeracy and literacy skills.
Computer literate - WMS experience is a plus.
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
Flexible approach with willingness to work overtime when required.
Must live within a commutable distance to the site in West Horndon.In return we are offering:
A highly competitive salary starting at £26,500 raising to £27,500 on the successful completion of probation period.
Working hours - Monday - Thursday 6am - 3pm and every other Friday 6:00am - 2.30pm.
Overtime available during peak periods at an enhanced rate of pay.
25 days' annual leave plus bank holidays and Christmas closure (which increases after 5 years).
