We are currently seeking an inspiring, knowledgeable and committed Science Teacher to join a high-achieving and well-regarded secondary school in Buckingham. This is a full-time, permanent position starting January 2026 (or earlier for the right candidate). About the Role As a Science Teacher, you will be responsible for: • Teaching general Science across KS3–KS4 • Delivering engaging, practical lessons that promote scientific understanding and enquiry • Planning and assessing in line with whole-school and departmental frameworks • Supporting students of all abilities to achieve and exceed expectations • Contributing to the development of curriculum resources and schemes of learning • Participating in wider school life, including STEM events, clubs and trips • Working effectively with colleagues to maintain a thriving faculty This role is suitable for both experienced teachers and strong ECTs. Experience and Qualifications • Degree in a Science-related subject • PGCE with QTS • Ability to teach Science at KS3–KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential) • Strong subject knowledge and passion for scientific education • Excellent classroom management and communication skills • Commitment to high standards, safeguarding and continuous professional growth Salary Paid to scale – MPS/UPS depending on experience.
