A leading distributor require a candidate with proven customer services and/or supply chain/buying admin experience to join their team on a fixed term basis, with opportunities to stay on a permanent basis
Responsibilities:
1. Placing orders for customers, inputting details onto the ERP system and sending order acknowledgements
2. Placing orders with suppliers, chasing suppliers for information, where orders are up to, when due in and if there shall be a delay – updating the system with this information.
3. Helping to resolve general customer queries regarding deliver issues and dates, using the in-house system to resolve
4. Providing delivery confirmation to customers when required, sending proof of delivery etc.
Desirables:
5. Excellent communication skills, confident liaising with customers and suppliers
6. Intermediate MS excel spreadsheet knowledge
7. Excellent written and verbal English skills
